SUCCESS Information Sessions
April 5 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
SUCCESS is a 30-hour, weekly employment and education program for Indigenous off-reserve youth aged 18-30. The participants spend 8 weeks in class learning life-skills (budgeting; diet and nutrition; stress management) and employability skills (resume preparation; job interview practice). Then participants spend the next 8 weeks in a work placement gaining valuable experience and developing skills. Participants receive a stipend (minimum wage) during the classroom phase and are paid minimum wage by the employers during the work placement.
