Another One Bites The Dust….

Powers Boothe, one of my favorite actors, unfortunately passed away from natural causes yesterday at his home in Los Angeles. He was 68. Most people would probably know Powers as Cy Tolliver in the HBO Series, Deadwood, or as Senator Roark in Sin City — but if you want my two cents on it, his best role was his portrayal of the legendary Outlaw Cowboy, ¬†Curly Bill Brocious in George P. Cosmato’s 1993 Western “Tombstone” where he shared the screen with Kurt Russell (Wyatt Earp) and Val Kilmer (Doc Holliday)

Powers good friend, and fellow actor Beau Bridges, sent out a tweet earlier that said:

“It’s with great sadness that I mourn the passing of my friend Powers Boothe. A dear friend, great actor, devoted father & husband.”
